Dunnock
Prunella modularis
The humble Dunnock (we always called them Hedge Sparrows growing up) has a beautiful singing voice. Although regular garden visitors, I was never able to photograph one from my garden ‘hide’. I think they were always skulking about in the undergrowth.
These pictures were taken at Moore Nature Reserve, close to the feeding station.
