The images top-left and below bottom-right were my first taken with my new camera at the time; the Canon 1D. I’d spent a small fortune on this camera, and I remember panicking when I saw the first results. They seemed very different from my previous 10D – colder and harsher somehow. I studied the manual and played around in Photoshop for a long time before I was happy with the results.
